In order to meet water supply demand for a new Wastewater Treatment Plant in Georgetown, TX, Cash Construction was selected to construct a 60” polyurethane coated, cement lined steel pipe to meet their needs. The project involved installation and welding of approximately 5,700 LF of 60” steel pipe, 60” butterfly valves, 42” butterfly valves, and trenching underneath challenging Edwards Group karst limestone rock. The project challenges involved working in tight work areas with close proximity to vehicular traffic, but the team was able to overcome these challenges and execute to perfection.
